We do the work.

Here is a sample of some of our best works and programs over the years.

Community

Our on- and off-line community events bring together some of the most community-centered educators from across the country to convene on the most pertinent issues of our time, especially for people ready to do the work.

Resources

We have multiple resources available for educators of color and conscience. From our in-house developed lists developed from our experienced membership to the CR-SE framework, we've brought these resources together for free and for all.

Partnerships

Over the years, we've had partnerships with multiple organizations large and small to help them fortify their work with educators. Organizations turn to EduColor when they need help thinking about systems change as well as anti-racist pedagogical work.

We build community.

Hundreds of educators and concerned citizens have trusted EduColor over the years to elevate their work. Here's why.
  • Experience and Expertise

Our working group collectively has over 75 years of experience in the education field, mostly serving in classrooms across the country.
  • Principled Action

We actively engage communities on and off-line to meet shared goals in our work.
  • Responsiveness On- and Off-Line

Our longstanding EduColor Chats and annual virtual summit helped us stay socially connected even when we were socially distant.
  • An Ethics of Justice and Care

Wherever two or more of us are gathered, we hold ourselves accountable to meeting people where they are and moving everyone towards a shared humanity.

Leadership is there in the people ... You don’t have to worry about where your leaders are, how are we going to get some leaders. The leadership is there. If you go out and work with your people, then the leadership will emerge.
